Forgot to add these two photos of the quality of the air from the fires as you can see in the background mountains are almost invisible

And reminiscent of the south from the last century

These two female firefighters are soliciting donations from everybody who goes through the toll which I’m perfectly OK with because you don’t have to stop and you don’t have to pay and they haven’t asked me all three times that I’ve seen this, however the first two times it was an actual roadblock.  They blocked  the road, stopped all the cars and went up to your window basically extorting money from you which I’m definitely not OK with but as I said they didn’t ask me and I didn’t see them ask any motorcyclists so I guess they figured it was too much hassle for a motorcyclist to get to his money and hold up all the traffic

These tolls on the main highway are killing me.  Cost me a $1.10 for the trip through that 2 mile long tunnel through the mountain.  Granted, it was a new tunnel and in perfect condition but geez. Lol

 Finally with Daughters’ help think I have it figured out  Firstly for those that didn’t hear this last year, this is mostly a way for me to be able to remember what happened on the trip I don’t have time to reply to comments sorry  As most of you know my phone is kaput for internet and cellular service. I’ll let you figure out why there’s a ladder to the shower  No ceiling access but could be an emergency shower exit if you get too wet lol Light house from this morning   Not much about today.  Started off cool and marine overcast but once I turned inland and went over the first set of hills, blue sky and warmed up 10° from 22 to 32 and then over the course of the next few hours went up to 37 that’s Centigrade of course . As I predicted to myself, the road got a lot less busy only two trucks passed me all day and a lot of cars of course but they were doing 70 and I was doing 55 but I was enjoying the ride even though after two days of basically desert, not a whole lot to see and unfortunately, I have to stay on the freeway because there’s no other road that’s paved.  Did see a semi truck that went off the road, fell over on its side and spilled all it’s goods all over and a dozen scavengers were picking over the load as I went by A lot of road, going off into th...
