Day 2

Well hello everyone I’m spending my first day in Chile and it’s my birthday so everything’s going great except for the fact that I’m only one year away from being a 3/4 of a century old fart but the weather is awesome I’m sitting outside on the deck of my motel room or hotel rather enjoying the 82° weather right now snow is just a bad memory

Went to the Royal Enfield. Dealer guy is great has a shop that only sells royal Enfield is the only one in the whole country that sells solely royal Enfields He had a brand new blue and white royal Enfield Himalayan for me he’s got to do a little work on it for me and for him (he wants to make sure all the systems are good before he lets me out the door)and unfortunately after we went to the registration office, turns out we need three or four days for that so he suggested that I go for a day ride and return to the hotel every day until the registration and license plate arrives.  We have to go to one more government office to complete the registration tomorrow so I guess I’ll be here most of the day. The hotel has a bicycle so I rode that to his store and I’ll just ride around tomorrow probably and then takeoff on Friday for a one day trip and come back to the hotel each night until the registration arrives hopefully on Monday at the latest. So many great restaurants in the area here I passed

I’m going out to test out the Peruvian restaurant that everybody

says is awesome for the Pisco sour, which is a national drink here and for the Seafood

Now I’m going to send all of you who were following my trip in Japan an email telling you how to view this blog. Hopefully if you can’t see it you’ll send me an email letting me know and we’ll try and figure it out

Wow the fish was really good, the avocado perfect and the pisco sour a good buzz

Some guy offered a taste of his ceviche but I was too full to order some

It was tasty though

Phone giving me problems, maybe have to go back to the $10 a day Verizon service

8:30 and still not datk

Lots of strolling musicians on this street of outside dining restaurants

Smoking allowed in restaurants so I’m getting smoked out

Seems corn nuts are the go to snack

Giving up on this phone thing

Gonna just bite the billet and go with the expensive but no problem Verizon international deal
